what we are looking for:

The Technology Alignment Manager will provide proactive support to our client base. The successful candidate will be highly customer focused with knowledge on a wide variety of infrastructures, including workstations, servers, printers, networks and vendor specific hardware and software. This position will work primarily within our main office and requires regular travel to our client sites.

qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of recent, relevant hands-on experience
  • Preferred systems experience:
    • ConnectWise
    • Office 365
    • Windows server operating systems
    • Switches and Routers
    • Firewalls and security
    • Sophos platform offerings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience working in the TruMethods framework is highly desirable.

a successful technical alignment manager will be able to:

  • Develop, and improve Company standards and best practices. Perform Customer alignment and standards reviews; work predictively towards aligning customers with Company standards.
  • Perform Onsite Alignment and Standards Reviews with key customers.
  • Conduct thorough assessments while verifying\updating accuracy of customers information and documentation.
  • Identify customer technical risks and collaborate with internal teams appropriately.
  • Develop both Business and Technical acumen with key contacts at Customer sites.
  • Maintaining project files and keeping documentation in order.
  • Liaise with, manage, and advise customers, other consultants, and contractors and attend meetings as required

  • Experience with TruMethods approach and implementation Highly desirable
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • High level organizational, project management, coordination, and prioritization skills.

key performance indicators:

  • Completed Technology Alignment visits according to the set frequency schedule.
  • Accuracy of customers’ Technology Alignment Reports.
  • Quality of Technical recommendations provided back to the vCIO and Internal teams
  • Reduction of reactive noise at assigned customer sites.
  • Intimate knowledge of Customers’ IT Environment.
  • Accuracy of customers documentation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Customer and staff satisfaction.
  • Satisfactory achievement of ongoing targets, goals, and objectives as set by the General Manager, Operations Manager, and the Company.
  • Become an expert on a client’s IT infrastructure.
  • Provide predictive support for devices, networks, servers, software and more.
  • Ensure Client IT structure is secure, accessible, and efficient.
  • This role is not sales driven.
